Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sweeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of trucks and trailers to transport materials efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards while performing duties in a variety of environments.
Duties
- Load and unload sweeping truck with precision, ensuring all materials are secured properly.
- Drive commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers and tankers, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining safety protocols.
- Driving a sweeper truck
Requirements
- Strong understanding of load securing techniques and freight handling procedures.
- Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
