DCX-CHOL Enterprises is a privately held American owned Small Business. We are made up of five vertically integrated manufacturing and assembly divisions, each with their own history, specializations and products. Each division compliments the other with their unique skills and products and at the same time, each work together as a vertically integrated team to provide the most cost effective, high-quality interconnect products to our customers on time.
We are looking to fill an entry level Helpdesk Support position. The applicant will be responsible for providing local and remote technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Respond to requests for assistance, troubleshoot / isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions.
Applicant must have a positive work attitude. They should have some experience or understanding of customer service. Patience is a virtue of great value in this position.
Primary responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming requests and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
- Respond to email messages for end-users seeking help.
- Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
- Walk end-users through problem-solving process.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Reinstall O / S, clean up computers.
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
- First-level troubleshooting for technical problems with Local Area Network (LAN).
- Install computer peripherals for users, replace ink / toner for printers.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
- May need to travel to remote office sites, on occasion.
Proficiencies :
Operating systems : Windows 10 / 11, Mac
Software : MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, System diagnostic and repair tools, Security tools and applications.
ITAR REQUIREMENTS :
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
