Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site to ensure project timelines are met.
- Up to date scheduling activities and man-hour tracking
- Coordinate and collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate project execution.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Manage project scheduling and ensure that milestones are achieved on time.
- Review and interpret schematics and blueprints to guide construction activities.
- Utilize construction management software for project tracking and reporting.
- Assist in budgeting processes, including estimating costs and managing expenditures.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Preferrably ran self-performing construction crews in past positions.
- Strong knowledge of quality control practices, contract management, and project scheduling techniques.
- Proficiency in using construction management software PlanGrid, Bluebeam, and Excel.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills and the ability to interpret schematics accurately.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction site management.
- Must have OSHA 30
- Familiar with concrete, steel, and framing.
- Clean and clear driving record.
