Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Systems Engineer role located in Atlanta, GA. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for development and advancement of the company's next-generation automated manufacturing hardware and software.

Responsibilities include systems design, engineering and integration, technical troubleshooting, and participation in the company's manufacturing operations on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering from a top engineering school.
• A minimum of 1-3 years industrial experience working hands-on with complex automated and/or robotic machinery including opto-mechatronic hardware, and developing algorithms and writing software code for such systems is required.
• Strong educational emphasis and hands-on experience in one or more of the following: Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electromechanics, Opto-mechatronics, Sensing and Actuation, and Cyber-physical Systems is required.
• Strong experience in Systems Design and Systems Engineering for automated manufacturing equipment particularly in the realm of additive manufacturing and 3D printing is required.
• Excellent skills in Troubleshooting, Debugging and Problem-solving for complex automated machinery including understanding and interpretation of wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams and electrical/electronics schematics is a must.
• Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills, and an ability to integrate with a diverse team is a must.
• Experience working in a cross-functional multidisciplinary team with geographically distributed team members is a plus.
