We are hiring dependable, caring and compassionate employees for positions in our community-based group homes for people with intellectual disabilities. You will be responsible for coordinating and conducting individual and group recreational activities as well as assisting and training individuals in performing daily living functions.
NO PRIOR TRAINING OR EXPERIENCE NEEDED! The primary qualification for this job is that you be a responsible, caring, safety-conscious person willing to learn on the job.
Responsibilities:
• Assists and supports individuals in the implementation of their Individual Support Plans (ISP's) and activity schedules.
• Assists and supports individuals in performing daily living functions.
• Assist and supports individuals in all housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and pleasant living environment.
• Monitor individuals and the surroundings for appropriate safety and health care practices.
• Assist, coordinates and transports individuals to recreational activities in their homes and in the
community.
• Completes documentation regarding programming, health and safety, comprehensive assessments, and
other areas as assigned.
• Monitors individuals and their environment for any change in health, mental well-being, and behavioral well-being.
• Assist and supports individuals in implementing their Behavioral Support Plans as developed.
