Fleet Coordinator Pay Range: $70-80K annually
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. This role will serve as a key position within our Fleet Management team ensuring the smooth preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance of our large fleet of heavy-duty trucks, trailers and equipment. Must be able and willing to work collectively with drivers, mechanics, and management to ensure that the department meets critical organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining schedules for vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Coordinating vehicle reservations, usage, and maintenance requests
- Monitoring and tracking vehicle inventory to ensure adequate supply levels
- Managing driver schedules and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Communicating with drivers to ensure that they are aware of their schedules and responsibilities
- Working with mechanics to coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Performing periodic vehicle inspections to ensure that they are in good working order
- Coordinating with management to develop and implement policies and procedures related to fleet management
- Monitoring and analyzing fleet data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Preparing reports related to fleet operations and presenting them to management
- High School Diploma, GED or higher and a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in fleet coordination, logistics or a related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong communication skills, able to communicate with vendors, mechanics and other employees
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Possess strong scheduling, organizational, and time-management skills
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Prior inventory management experience
- Familiarity with TMW or other Fleet Management software
