Are you passionate about basketball and excited to be part of the action? ShotTracker is looking for a Game Specialist to help deliver real-time game data during our 2025 Spring and Summer sessions. This role is crucial to ensuring success of ShotTracker’s technology during live games.
As a Game Specialist, you’ll work directly with our team at our Merriam, KS location, ensuring ShotTracker data is delivered flawlessly during assigned games. If you’re a detail-oriented individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys working with technology, and is excited about the impact of sports data, this is the perfect opportunity!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure all game statistics are accurate and match with the official stats when available
- Report out specific metrics designed by ShotTracker to ensure consistency
- Work with Game Managers and Game Success Lead(s) to ensure seamless communication with team personnel involved in games
- Monitor ShotTracker pre-game checklist and alert Game Success Lead if there are any issues
- Be on time to every assignment - will require night and weekend work - this will have a zero-tolerance policy
- Be respectful of all staff on site at ShotTracker Mission Control
- Timely reply to weekly scheduling emails/communications
- Provide feedback and input to the Game Operations Lead on product improvements
- Mandatory attendance at training session

EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must understand the rules and concepts of basketball
- Comfortable in a fast paced and demanding environment
- Ability to learn how to utilize an iPad to edit data within an app
- Willingness to attend and pass in person training in advance of being selected for the role
- Comfortable with basic technology concepts (iPad, email, scheduling calendar, etc.)
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age as of April 1, 2025
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Contract
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 24 per week
Schedule:
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only
