Role overview:
As an Area Sales Manager at De La Calle Co Inc., you will be the driving force behind expanding De La Calle Tepache throughout the New York metro region. This role demands an energetic individual with a knack for building and sustaining strong client and distributor relationships, along with a deep passion for innovative beverages.
Responsibilities
Account Management: Regularly visit and pitch De La Calle's products to 15-20 assigned accounts daily.
Client Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with current accounts, focusing on Rainforest Distribution accounts.
Sales Collaboration: Partner with DSD sales teams through frequent communication, ride-alongs, and joint work sessions to enhance brand presence.
Reporting & Performance: Deliver daily and weekly reports to management, analyzing sales performance against KPIs, including sales, distribution, pricing, and merchandising metrics.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of De La Calle's product range, pricing structures, and promotional strategies.
Performance Milestones for Evaluation:
Account Growth: Number of new accounts acquired within a specified period.
Sales Volume: Achievement of sales targets, measured monthly
Client Retention: Percentage of accounts maintained over time and voids closed.
Reporting Accuracy: Timely and accurate submission of sales reports and insights.
Qualifications:
Driven & Resourceful: Self-motivated with a passion for the beverage industry.
Experience: Prior field sales experience, preferably in the beverage sector and working with Rainforest Distribution.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with DSD partners and retail teams.
Flexibility: Willingness to attend sales meetings, tradeshows, & blitzes as needed.
Mobility: Must have valid drivers license
Location: Must reside in New York metro
Commitment: This role requires five days per week in the field, focusing on account growth and management.
