Summary/Objective:
The Director of Promotions is responsible for conceptualizing, leading, and executing innovative promotional strategies that amplify brand visibility, drive consumer engagement, and deliver measurable business results for clients and the agency. This role serves as a pivotal link between creative vision and business objectives, ensuring promotional efforts are strategically aligned and impactful. The Director of Promotions will oversee cross-functional teams, collaborate closely with clients, and leverage data-driven insights to craft high-performing campaigns across multiple channels. The objective is to position the agency as a leader in delivering exceptional promotional outcomes while fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.

- Strategic Planning and Development
- Campaign Oversight and Execution

- Oversee the creation and execution of multi-channel promotional campaigns, including digital, social media, experiential marketing, partnerships, and traditional advertising.
- Ensure all campaigns are executed on time, within budget, and meet predefined KPIs.
- Approve creative concepts, ensuring consistency with client branding and campaign objectives.
- Client Management
- Act as the primary liaison between the agency and clients for all matters related to promotional campaigns.
- Present strategic plans, creative concepts, and performance results to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying additional opportunities to enhance their marketing efforts.
- Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of promotion managers, coordinators, and specialists.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture within the promotions team.
- Provide regular feedback, professional development opportunities, and performance evaluations to team members.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, using data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

- Vendor and Partner Collaboration
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and other third parties to secure competitive pricing and added value.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of promotional activities.
- Budget Management
- Develop and oversee the budget for all promotional campaigns, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.
- Track and report on spending, making adjustments as necessary to achieve financial goals.
- Innovation and Trendspotting
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new promotional tactics to keep campaigns fresh and relevant.
- Incorporate innovative approaches and tools into promotional efforts to maintain a competitive edge.
