How You Will Make a Difference
You will lead a team responsible to repair, maintain and service plant equipment to achieve optimum uptime & deliver department KPI’s (OEE/MTBF/MTTR) on all site machinery whilst keeping in-line with all site certification requirements.
Main Duties Include
- To have one mechanical, HVAC or electrical specialisation field and be confident working with the other and assist on both fields, with proven experience, while supporting your team
- Ensure that repairs and maintenance is carried out to highest quality, within the shortest time frame and right first time
- Before and after machine intervention, updates the machine status using OFX system and informs team leaders of status.
- Need to be trained and able to manoeuvre using equipment such as fork lifters, stackers and motorised/un-motorised elevated platforms
- Needs to be able to read and interpret schematic and general arrangement diagrams as per specialisation field
- Takes part in the installation of equipment and infrastructural systems
- Ensures a safe and healthy workplace, including the promotion of the environmental, health and safety standards, integrated management systems and any other relevant initiatives
- Embraces the principles of Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance and the need for Continuous Improvement
- Be present prior to shift start for appropriate handover from other shifts
- Be in possession of Enemalta Lic.B.
- Hands on experience on plant equipment or certification systems
- Be familiar with Microsoft office software
- Be able to maintain schedules up-to-date.
- Give support to business units when required
- Work on shift basis as per company requirement
