Currently Seeking Dietetic Technician Assistant
The primary purpose of your job position as a Dietetic Technician Assistant is to coordinate the nutritional care of residents. This involves completing nutritional observations and reviews, developing and implementing care plans and documenting dietary information about residents under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Dietician, You will be responsible for referring residents to the Registered or Licensed Dietitian as appropriate, ensuring compliance with current Federal, State and Local standards, guidelines and regulations as well as adhering to the established policies and procedures. In this roll you will engage in carious job functions that include general responsibilities such as ensuring residents rights, maintaining food and safety, and promoting staff development. You will conduct nutritional assessments by completing and nutritional observations and reviews, MDS, CAA's and care plans under the supervision of the Registered Dietitian..Additionally you will be responsibility for completing progress notes and visiting residents routinely to assess, evaluate and update food preferences and food intake.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for referring residents to the Registered or Licensed Dietitians as appropriate, ensuring compliance with current Federal, State and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as adhering to our established policies and procedures.
In this role, you will engage in various job functions that include assisting nutrition services director as needed.
You will conduct nutritional assessments by completing progress notes and visiting residents routinely to assist the effectiveness of interventions, update food preferences and evaluate food intake.
Checking residents progress and determining effectiveness of nutritional care plans, promoting and assisting in the implementation of diets and alwaysing using professional judgement and standards of professional practice.
Under the supervision of the Dietician, you will review and complete required documentation on residents who are nutritionally at risk, follow hours supplement procedures and evaluate the effectiveness of supplements on a routine basis.
Review weight records routinely and communicate any variances to the team, make feeling and dialysis recommendations consistent with procedures, and ensure timely follow up on physician recommendations
Communicate relevant changes in residents' nutrition and hydration conditions during the 24 hour clinical Report/Stand-Up Meeting and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
Coordinate nutritional care of residents by completing nutritional observations and reviews
Develop and implement care plans under the supervision of the Registered
Develop dietary information about residents accurately
Complete progress notes and visit residents routinely to assess interventions
Check residents progress and determine the effectiveness of a nutritional care plan
Promote and assist in the implementation of diets
Review and compete documentation on residents
Follow house supplement and procedures and recommend enhanced foods before supplements
Evaluate the effectiveness of supplements on a routine basis
