Supply Chain Manager
We are seeking a committed Supply Chain Manager, based in Totowa NJ, - to optimize operational processes for product delivery & service provision. Organized and methodical, he/she will assist in managing Production, Logistics & Warehouse, Facility & Office Management. Oversight of planning, sourcing, production, distribution are daily responsibilities. The goal is to ensure efficiency, cost effectiveness &seamless sale to customer and provide support to ensure smooth operations & consistent flow of goods to customers.
As Supply Chain Manager you will
Strategic Oversight
- Develop and execute long-term operational strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and align with the company’s growth objectives.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance, identify improvement areas, and ensure alignment with overall company goals.
Inventory & Logistics Management
- Oversee inventory monitoring and storage costs, including rotation rate and warehouse expenses.
- Forecast customer needs to prevent shortages or out-of-stock situations via analysis of consumer reports.
- Assist inventory and program stock replenishment, ensuring alignment with customer demand.
- Liaise with Sales and Logistics to secure timely product availability.
Procurement & Supplier Relations
- Supervise procurement of goods, sourcing competitive quality.
- Advise on competitive pricing with suppliers and conduct cost analysis of profitability, freighting, and warehousing to generate healthy margins on pricing.
Warehouse & Operations Optimization
- Support management of third-party warehouses and oversee the bulk vinegar process.
- Rework and optimize warehouse layouts to streamline operational workflows.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards and compliance with safety protocols.
- Oversee the warehouse department and implement strategies that improve people’s organization.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a collaborative work environment and supporting individual growth.
- Establish clear role expectations and performance standards for the operations team, conducting regular evaluations and performance feedback.
Customer Experience & Quality Assurance
- Be a primary point of contact for customers on all outbound sales orders, chargebacks, and returns.
- React promptly to all customer complaints, suggesting corrective actions when necessary.
- Drive a culture of quality throughout the supply chain, ensuring that products meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve product offerings, services, and overall customer satisfaction.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to streamline operations, align goals, and support cohesive end-to-end processes across departments.
- Serve as a liaison between the operations team and other departments, ensuring consistent communication and effective issue resolution.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
