We are located at 4545 La Jolla Village Drive, inside the UTC Westfield mall's food court. We are looking for a friendly and talented CASHIER with best in class hospitality standards that can learn and support our team in all daily duties. Our ideal candidate is proactive, ambitious, engaged and happy to work.

At DE NUNNO cashiers can have the opportunity to embody an entrepreneurial spirit while learning from a very hands-on and fast-paced environment. You will be in charge of collecting customer orders, supporting FOH daily duties and prep. From explaining in details our high-end menu to prepping sandwiches, salads and helping the cooking station to finalize plating.

Guest satisfaction is at the core of this position and the DE NUNNO brand. We strive to deliver exceptional guest experiences, always with a smile!

Skills we look for:

• Guest Experience: cares about people and building strong and positive relationships with both customers and team members. Upholding the highest guest service standards while developing marketing acumen
• Sales: strong ability to upsell, great communications skills, proactive with customers and team
• Food & prep: ensure food safety, ability to prep dishes such as sandwiches, salads and desserts
• Operations: well organized, ability to work at the register collecting customer's orders and managing our POS system. Ability to open and close the restaurant. Has experience in working under pressure, maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and apply knowledge of all policies, procedures and practices
• Positive personality: energetic, happy to come to work, strong team player, gives effective feedback. Ability to communicate with leadership highlighting weaknesses
• Ability to train new personnel
• Humble - eager to learn

Qualifications:

We are looking for individuals with 2 years of high volume restaurant or related hospitality FOH experience. DE NUNNO cashiers must be passionate about gourmet/quality Italian food and be able to SELL HAPPY!

• High school diploma (preferred)
• Established FOH expertise with commitment to continued skillset development
• Ability to legally work in the US
