What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandiser - Ozaukee and Washington Counties position at DE PERE LIQUOR CO LLC?
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Communicates with and takes direction from account personnel, management, Sales Representatives and store personnel on a regular basis and reports problems in the proper timeframe
- Responsible for proper inventory and reorganizing back stock, refill cold boxes, shelves, displays and dust product as needed
- Build displays meeting supplier and company guidelines
- Works with Sales Representatives and the chain division to execute and merchandise all monthly chain programs
- Maintains and submits required reports in a timely manner
- Maintains proper product rotation on all date sensitive products
- Assists all divisions in display and shelf reset projects
- Assist in running vacation routes
- Assists Sales Representatives with rebates and coupons within assigned accounts as needed
- Attends product and business training sessions and division meetings
- Able to understand and complete all necessary training provided by the company as necessary
- May be required to flex hours to support all areas of the business
- Required to work (regular or overtime) or provide on call support on any day, may include nights, weekends and holidays
- Additional duties as assigned by management

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- A Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Experience of one (1) to three (3) years merchandising experience preferred
- Willing to relocate to fill an open sales route to advance career
- Valid driver license, insurance and satisfactory driving record required
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
Due to the fast paced, highly physical demands of the position, job candidates will be required to complete a Post Offer Pre-Employment Physical (POPE). Job candidates must pass all aspects of the POPE to qualify for the position.
Education
Required- High School or better in General Education or related field
- Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field
- Associates or better in Business Administration or related field
