Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming checks, ensuring proper documentation, and accurate allocation to client accounts.
- Record and deposit checks promptly, verifying payment amounts and supporting documentation.
- Monitor and follow up on any discrepancies or missing payments related to checks.
- Ensure that all checks comply with firm policies and legal regulations regarding financial transactions.
- Collaborate with other accounting and administrative teams to ensure the smooth flow of check processing operations.
- Handle and resolve any inquiries or issues related to check processing from clients, vendors, or internal departments.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and adhere to internal controls and compliance requirements.
Skills
- Proficient in check handling procedures with a strong attention to detail.
