Position Function: The Board Clerk/Executive Assistant provides care and custody of the records and documents of the Board of Education to ensure efficient and lawful operation of the school district. The Board Clerk/Executive Assistant provides office and clerical support to assist with the efficient operation of the school district. To accomplish these tasks, the Board Clerk/Executive Assistant must work closely with the staff and administration of De Soto USD 232.
Qualifications
Schedule: 8 hours a day - 250 Day Work Calendar

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.; college degree preferred
- Experience as a secretary
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Knowledge of computer programs, Microsoft Office, Diligent Community
- Current Certification of Health, including negative TB test
- Completion of clear, criminal background check

Requirements
- All employees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis). If you’ve had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) we can accept a copy of your test results. If it’s been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
- Must submit a pre employment physical prior to first day of work.
