De Vor Communications, LLC, seeks a collaborative and resourceful graphic designer to join our in-house creative team. Reporting to the design and marketing lead, this role will support our public involvement and communications specialists. The ideal candidate will conceptualize and produce a diverse range of original graphic art, assets, and layouts for both print and digital platforms, ensuring consistent and effective communication of concepts and ideas to a broad audience.
This hybrid position combines in-office and remote work, though it is not fully remote.
Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality visual content, including document layouts, infographics, technical illustrations, presentations, logos, and collateral
- Design compelling digital content including animated and motion graphics, and social media posts
- Collaborate with De Vor team members and external clients, receiving and responding to creative feedback
- Initiate and complete tasks while adhering to established workflows and review/delivery timelines
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in graphic design, digital/print design or related area
- One to three years of professional print/digital design experience
- In lieu of education, three to five years of print/digital design experience
- Must include link to website or PDF of design portfolio in application
SOFTWARE & SKILLS
Applied knowledge of the following skills:
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to proofread and quality check
- Fundamentals of web frameworks
- Basic Knowledge of CSS/HTML and UI/UX principles
- Basic map reading skills
Expertise in the following applications:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Acrobat
- Figma/Adobe XD
- Microsoft PowerPoint
Working knowledge of the following design applications:
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Express (formerly Spark)
- Adobe Animate
- Adobe Premiere
- Microsoft Word
