What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Marketing Coordinator position at Deacon Construction?
Deacon Construction, a major General Contractor with offices throughout the West Coast, is looking for a motivated individual to join our marketing department. This role works closely with our marketing team and assists in the development and maintenance of our digital properties, including websites, landing pages, emails, social media and more. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will support regional marketing coordinators/managers with their digital needs, including landing page development, email marketing, event marketing and follow-up, contact/list management, etc.
This person must be an organized self-starter, Candidates must be creative, have strong technical skills, well organized and dependable. This position is a Hybrid role and located in our Redmond, Washington office. Experience working with email marketing program, website content systems, SEO and sales CRM programs is a plus!
Primary responsibilities:
- Maintain resources and information systems such as project database, CRM database and marketing database including Dynamics, Cosential, and Projectmark.
- Coordinate, write, submit, and post social media content across offices.
- Monitor, coordinate and update website content.
- Edit photos and create graphics to support our digital marketing efforts and follow brand standards.
- Create and distribute appropriate reports on sales opportunities, website trends and social media metrics.
- Interact with vendors and contractors related to the website and digital marketing efforts as needed.
- May support additional marketing team efforts such as proposal administration, internal/external events and preparation efforts as needed.
- May assist with graphic design and content creation as needed.
- May assist with admin/office duties as needed.
Education/Skills:
Bachelor’s in business, communications or marketing preferred. Candidates must be proficient with Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), html/website Content Management Systems, Social Media Aggregation Tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Candidates must be creative, well organized, and dependable. Experience working in the A/E/C industry is desirable, as is working with websites, email marketing programs and sales CRM programs.
