OFFICE MANAGER - EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Deacon Construction is looking for an enthusiastic, well-organized office manager to help create a fun and productive work environment, effectively manage day-to-day office operations, proactively seek new ways to improve processes and help us build and embody our company culture. As the office manager, you will wear many hats as you handle the daily tasks of our busy Portland office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise support staff, including recruiting, hiring, training, and performance reviews
- Assist all levels of management - scheduling and facilitating meetings, and other projects and duties as assigned
- Assist the Executive team with administrative tasks on a daily basis
- Keep office spaces clean and organized, and maintain office and kitchen supplies
- Make travel arrangements, review & approve invoices, and assist with staff coverage as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Associates degree is preferred
- 3-5 years of office management and supervisory experience
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Adobe or Bluebeam
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate clearly
- Proactive, self-starter who takes the initiative to get the job done
- Experience working in the construction industry is a plus

Salary : $53,300 - $67,500
