Deaconess Clinic is seeking a full-time ACNP, FNP, or PA to join the Henderson Podiatry department in Kentucky. Typical work schedule will be Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, will likely take first call 1 weekend/month. This position is designed to assist with patient follow-up appointments in the office and to support inpatient rounding and consultations as needed for Dr. Wilson.
Responsibilities of this position include rounding daily before clinic hours to see inpatients at the Henderson facility, meeting with pre-operative patients to provide education on their weight-bearing status, and assisting with any necessary arrangements prior to surgery. Additionally, the APP will conduct post-surgical visits to remove sutures, evaluate wounds, provide patient education, and ensure compliance with care instructions. The APP will also handle follow-up visits for care related to callouses, nail trimming, gait and fall evaluations, and the application of compression wraps. Candidates should be licensed in the State of Kentucky and certified by the ANCC/AANP as a Nurse Practitioner or certified by the NCCPA as a Physician Assistant.
