Job Summary
The Clinical Office Assistant is responsible for providing direct or indirect care, under the supervision of a physician based on their scope of training to patients who present with urgent, emergent or potential health problems, as well as preventive care.
- Services provided by the Clinic Medical Assistant will include, but are not limited to, general patient care,
- Assistance with procedures,
- Documentation of activities and patient/family education,
- Provide care utilizing established principles and ethical standards as well as policies and procedures established by Deaconess.
- Ideally the candidate will have proven practice management success in a similar group practice setting
- Demonstrates success in developing and leading operational teams
- Educationally, minimum of college degrees, preferably health care related;
- Associates or higher in a health-related field, business administration and or related field is required
- Management experience running a physician practice; 4-6 years of medical office management experience preferred
