Job Description
This position is responsible for providing direct patient care to patients with complex medical needs in the Cardiovascular Stepdown department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular specialty and possess strong clinical skills, including pre/post cath lab/EP procedures, PACU recovery, and cardiac surgery admissions.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care for patients with complex medical needs
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans
* Participate in unit-based committees and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Current RN licensure in single state; IN preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular specialty
* Proficiency in EPIC or CUPID charting systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
