Nurse Position in Cardiovascular Unit
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Stepdown department at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular specialty and possess strong clinical skills, including pre/post cath lab/EP procedures, PACU recovery, and cardiac surgery admissions. You will also need to be proficient in charting systems, such as EPIC and CUPID, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized plans of care for patients with complex medical needs
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans
* Participate in unit-based committees and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Work Schedule
* 36 guaranteed hours per week; no blocked schedule requests
* Shift: 12 HR Nights (6:00P-6:30AM)

* GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of orientation
