We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Central Region Radiology Director to oversee the planning, organization, and direction of radiology department operations across multiple locations. This role ensures compliance with patient care quality standards for all age groups, from neonate to geriatric patients, while maintaining efficiency, regulatory compliance, and financial responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct the overall operations of the Central Region Radiology Departments.
- Ensure compliance with all patient care quality standards and regulatory requirements (ACHC, state, federal, and local laws).
- Maintain performance improvement activities and participate in CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) initiatives.
- Assure competency of all personnel through training, oversight, and professional development.
- Prepare and manage department budgets while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
- Conduct regular department rounds to monitor compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Communicate effectively with hospital staff, physicians, and administration.
- Delegate authority and responsibilities appropriately to department personnel.
- Implement, interpret, and enforce policies and procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Attend and participate in interdisciplinary committees.
- Oversee staff education with a strong emphasis on patient safety and performance improvement.
- Serve as a resource for patient relations, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification preferred.
- Strong experience in radiology leadership, hospital administration, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and healthcare compliance (ACHC, state, federal).
- Proven experience in budgeting, staffing, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and hospital administration.
