What are the responsibilities and job description for the IL Materials Management Technician - FT Days position at Deaconess IL Medical Center?
Position Purpose:
Under the direction of the Director of Materials Management or Designee, the Materials Management Tech will perform functions including but not limited to the following responsibilities distributes general supplies and equipment to all hospital areas, maintains inventory control records, restocks distribution centers, assists shipping/receiving functions, assists in other materials management functions as requester by Department Manager or Designee.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
One to two years inventory/distribution experience preferred
Physical work is moderate to heavy with continuous walking, standing and lifting required. Work in a clean, well-lighted, heated/air-conditioned environment and warehouse surroundings.
Compensation:
Hourly range $16.00-$24.00
Bonus:
Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics. Details regarding bonus eligibility and performance goals will be provided during the interview process or upon hire.
Incentives:
Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
