Job Requirements
- Current IL license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (3 years preferred)
- At least one travel assignment required
- Required Certifications:
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- NHSS
- Desirable Skills:
- NHSS/dysphagia screen/strong neuro assessment skills
- Tele/EKG interpretation
- ETT/vent management
- Initiate/titrate sedatives, paralytics, cardiac drips, vasoactive, insulin
Unit Information
18 beds with a mix of ICU and step-down level of care patients
Ratios: ICU 2:1, Stepdown 3:1
Charge nurse takes patients
Unit Strengths: good core group of staff and increased volume needing traveler support
Scrubs: Navy Blue
No COVID-19 vaccine requirement (subject to change)
