Job Description
The Medical Office Assistant (MOA) for the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center greets all patients/families, answers phone calls, and registers all patients for appointments, treatment, or labs scheduled within the Cancer Center. The MOA works as a team with other MOA's who are actively scheduling and rescheduling appointments, labs, imaging, infusions, etc. The MOA should have an awareness of wait times and keep patients informed if it appears they are waiting longer than anticipated.
Experience Required
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's Degree preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology required. EPIC software experience a plus. Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position required.
