Location : Deaconess Henderson Hospital, Deaconess Hospital & Deaconess Gateway Hospital

Primarily staffing at Deaconess Henderson Hospital
There is 1 Advanced Practice Provider (APP) supporting Deaconess Gateway Hospital
Program was started approximately 23 years ago
Shifts are 12 hours in length
Swing Shift available (1pm - 1am) for admissions for Evansville campuses
175 shifts / year (full-time); 7 on 7 off schedule
Average # of admissions per night :

Henderson : 5-10 patients, plus cross-cover / codes

Midtown : 8-12 patients each, plus cross-coverage / codes

Gateway : 10-12 patients each, plus cross-coverage / codes

One Nocturnist per night at Henderson; Two Nocturnists per night at Midtown and Gateway

Referral base includes ED visits, direct admissions, and regional transfers

Robust subspecialty support

Procedures are required for Deaconess Henderson Hospital primary Nocturnist

Sign-on bonus
