Job Overview
Accurately review and resolve outstanding invoices in workqueues according to policy along with complying with the productivity standard established by the department. Inquiries via correspondence, electronic mail, or telephone are to be worked within three business days. Documents all actions taken in a clear, concise, and understandable form. Employees will be tested on their competency for each area of responsibility that they work upon hire or transition of duties. No additional competencies will be completed unless new duties are assigned or the workflow changes dramatically.
Education and Experience
Completion of High School or GED required. Two to four years' experience in a physician office, hospital registration, collection agency, hospital or professional billing or training at an educational institution that includes medical billing.
