Job Overview :
As a Specimen Processor, you would be responsible for providing technical and clerical support of the Microbiology Department at the Midtown Laboratory location, which may include one or more of the following : receiving, processing, plating, culture processing and incubation, correct sample storage and distribution of lab specimens. This position may also perform data entry, packing and shipping samples, equipment preventative maintenance, and problem solving.
