Deli Team Member

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the deli area, ensuring that all food safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches, while adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to ensure quality food preparation.
• Assist customers with their orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations and upselling additional products when appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness in the deli area by bussing tables, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Monitor inventory levels of deli products and assist with restocking as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak hours while managing time effectively.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
• Must have a friendly demeanor and strong communication skills to interact positively with customers.

Pay: $15.50 - $20.00 per hour
