DTN is growing, and we’re seeking talented contractors to join our team as Inventory Consultants. Contractors are essential to expanding our reach to dealerships we couldn’t otherwise engage. The Inventory Consultant, in a contractor role, is responsible for engaging with clients and potential customers to educate them about the services provided by DTN. Their duties include meeting with clients, explaining how the company's products or services function, and providing training on the product or service. Contractors are expected to meet all sales goals and KPIs, showcasing strong performance and the ability to build effective client relationships.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming leads primarily by phone and email, maintaining professionalism and clear communication.
- Leverage available resources to independently identify and engage dealerships interested in buying or selling inventory.
- Proactively schedule appointments with potential dealerships to discuss car deals or inventory opportunities.
- Follow the DTN-recommended sales process to facilitate seamless and efficient sales transactions.
- Ensure all necessary sales documentation is completed accurately and submitted following DTN guidelines.
- Collaborate with DTN team members and dealerships as an independent contributor, fostering positive relationships to support shared goals.
- Stay informed about the latest auto makes, models, and trim details to enhance expertise and effectiveness in sales discussions.
- Contractors are expected to generate a minimum of $10,000 in gross profit (GP) fees monthly.
- While contractors have full control over their schedules, achieving this target typically requires:
- 12-15 hours of effort per week , depending on individual efficiency and workflow.
- Consistent engagement with leads, dealerships, and the DTN-recommended sales process.
- Meeting this expectation is critical to success and maintaining a strong partnership with DTN.
- Flat Commission Rate of 30% of Attributed Generated Fee
- 1099 Contract Position - Commission Only
- Strong sales acumen (phone and email specifically)
- Ability to write and speak effectively and professionally
- Technical Acumen: typing, using software, general navigation of computers, email, etc.)

- Must have at least 2 years of relatable experience in a similar field (e.g., sales, inventory management, or automotive industry
- High School, undergraduate degree preferred
- Proven ability to generate consistent results in a sales role.
- A strong understanding of dealership operations or the automotive sales process is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet performance expectations.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and digital tools to manage leads and track progress is a plus.
