Job Summary
As an Automotive Pick-up/Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting vehicles from the service department to customers at their homes or places of business. This role requires a valid driver's license, a minimum of 5 years of driving experience, and the ability to lift and push up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Greet Customers Upon Arrival to the Dealership
- Park Customer Cars in the Dealership Lot
- Follow Safe Driving Procedures and Protocols
- Pick Up Cars from Customers' Houses, Satellite Stores, Wholesale Accounts, and Vendors
- Coordinate Pick-Ups and Deliveries with Account Managers
- Verify Invoices Match Customer Information
- Check Payment Received with Invoices
- Maintain Accurate Logs of Daily Transports
- Maintain Professional Appearance
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- 5 Years of Driving Experience
- Pass Motor Vehicle Record Check
- 18 Years or Older
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Working Conditions
This role requires regular walking, running, and standing, as well as maintaining alertness for 6-8 hour shifts. You will also be exposed to extreme heat/cold temperatures. Reasonable accommodations will be made to individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Pay Rate
$14 - $16 per hour
