Job Summary:
The HR/Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and supporting employees at the DetailOperation. This position requires you to be onsite full time. This person will report directly to the HR Manager in the Corporate Office. This role will ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates, manage HR-related tasks, and promote a positive workplace culture in alignment with company values. The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented professional with experience in recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for the Detail Training Center.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles within the company’s applicant tracking system, ensuring alignment with company needs and culture.
- Identify staffing requirements and create job postings.
- Coordinate and conduct interviews, pre-employment screenings, and reference checks.
- Maintain an active pipeline of candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and recruitment events.
Onboarding & Training:
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires receive proper orientation and training.
- Monitor new hire progress and provide feedback to management.
HR Administration & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files and training documentation.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Address employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and HR policies.
- Ensure disciplinary actions are properly documented, served, and signed by employees.
- Oversee employee terminations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting company culture and values.
- Address employee concerns, provide guidance on HR-related matters, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Assist with performance management processes, including evaluations and coaching.
- Support initiatives to improve employee retention and engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition.
- Understanding of hiring practices, employment laws, and HR policies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and HR software.
- Experience in the automotive or detailing industry is a plus.
