Job duties will include inspecting, diagnosing, and identifying work that needs to be completed on various vehicles. Testing mechanical and electrical functions of vehicles to ensure they are qualified to be certified according to industry standards. Performing adjustments and repair work on deficiencies found to get vehicles up to acceptable standards. Inspections on vehicles will include road testing for a certain mileage range as well as racking vehicles to inspect frame and structural integrity. Most work is performed in an enclosed shop, but some outside lot work will be required. Pushing, pulling, and crouching are frequently required as this job is primarily performed on your feet. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs. All shop equipment and tools are provided by DAA of Idaho. Experience using ProDemand/Mitchell to quote work is a plus but not required.
This is not an entry level position and a minimum of 1 year experience of mechanical or automotive technician experience is required. The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow within the company and become a shop lead over time.
