Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that products are received, stored, and shipped in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with heavy lifting and inventory management.
Also looking for help on the counter sales. You will help customers with orders in person and on the phone. Writing and pulling orders.
Responsibilities
- Pull, process, and stage orders for customers.
- Operate forklift and pallet jacks to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Answer phone calls and help/ direct customers to the correct personal.
- Interact with customers in a polite, respectful, and considerate manner.
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries within the warehouse.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures is beneficial.
- Able to communicate and help customers.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
