We have an opening for an Installer. This position requires automotive mechanical, assembly, and welding/fabrication skills, electrical and wiring knowledge, as well as hydraulic knowledge as you will be fabricating, fitting, and assembling the structural components of various mechanical systems and beds onto truck chassis.
Core Responsibilities:
- Install new equipment by reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Construct structural components from raw materials.
- Use welding equipment to specifications.
- Test the functionality of parts and systems.
- Conduct quality checks of completed work to ensure that the customer’s needs are met.
- Perform routine troubleshooting on bodies and equipment.
- Replace damaged or defective structural components as needed.
- Keep a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
- Promote a positive team-oriented attitude with other employees and across the workplace.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- Basic hydraulic knowledge.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to weld (MIG) and fabricate top quality products.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work with parts and installation drawings and manuals.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the required hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to quality and commitment to quality.
- Collaborate with other members of the production team to ensure that projects are completed on time / on budget.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Dedicated, driven approach and commitment to getting it right with a never-ending desire to learn, improve, and contribute.
- Current welding and state certifications and/or preparedness to obtain additional certifications and training as needed (may require company-paid travel).

- Combination wrench set for ¼” to 1” - Set of crescent wrenches
- Combination wrench set for metric #9 through #22 - Set of Allen wrenches
- ¼” socket set - Punch and chisel set
- 3/8” socket set - Set of vise grips
- ½” socket set - Ball peen hammers
- 3/8” air ratchet or impact - Wire pliers (crimping and stripping)
- ½” air impact - Test light
- Cordless drill - Creeper
- Screwdriver set (flathead and Phillips) - Drop Light
- Pipe wrench set - Toolbox
- Set of pliers
