What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinet Shop Apprentice position at Dean Cabinetry?
Growing cabinetry manufacturer and distributor located in Bolton, CT seeking to hire a full time cabinet shop apprentice.
Job specifications:
- Must be humble, hungry, and smart
- Ability to learn specific processes
- Ability to follow said processes once trained
- Willingness to make improvements and take pride in their work
List of duties:
- Assist all departments: receiving, production, finishing, assembly, and delivery and eventually grow into a specific department
- Receive shipments, including lifting up to 100lbs.
- Produce cabinet parts, including reading plans and operating machines.
- Finish cabinet parts, including spraying and hand application of stains and finishes.
- Assembling cabinets.
- Contribute to our lean culture of continuous improvement
Relationships and Roles:
- Supervised by the Operations manager and department leads
- Intro level position, with lots of potential for growth
