Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise and innovative designs using various CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical design principles and the ability to translate concepts into detailed schematics and drawings. The CAD Designer will collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure that designs meet specifications and project requirements.
Duties
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D models using SolidWorks
- Create and modify schematics for mechanical systems and components.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to create and revise construction plans.
- Draft technical documentation, including specifications, assembly instructions, and user manuals.
- Assist in the build process by providing accurate drawings and support to the manufacturing team.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation for easy access by team members.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks is essential.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
- Experience in drafting schematics and technical drawings.
- Ability to create detailed designs that meet project specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members.
- Ability to visit jobsite and gather information for designing purposes.
- Previous experience in construction or drafting is preferred.
