Duties
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a sterile and efficient environment.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for examinations and treatments.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Record patient vital signs and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient information and scheduling appointments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Support pediatric patients with a friendly demeanor, making their experience comfortable.
- Assist in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Stay updated on dental terminology and procedures to provide accurate information to patients.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using Dentrix software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of X-ray techniques and safety protocols.
- Ability to take vital signs accurately.
- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry practices.
- Understanding of dental and medical terminology.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

Pay: $20.23 - $21.17 per hour
