Responsibilities
Operate cash register and handle cash transactions- Collect payments and record transactions
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Welcome customers, answer their questions, and resolve any issues
Requirements
Strong customer service skills- Basic math skills for calculating totals and providing change
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Sales experience is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency is advantageous
- Knowledge of retail math principles
- Ability to supervise or lead a team is beneficial
