The Clinical Dietician is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating nutritional care plans for patients, with a special emphasis on pediatric nutrition.
Job Duties :
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient nutritional care plans to meet specific needs.
- Provide age-appropriate assessments for all patients identified at nutrition risk, including diabetes management and education, according to established guidelines.
- Adapt nutritional plans to accommodate the economic, social, cultural, and age-related needs of patients.
- Reassess patients regularly and adjust care plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.
- Provide education to patients and families, ensuring alignment with the nutritional plan of care and addressing readiness to learn.
- Assess and identify learning needs of patients and families, offering tailored education on nutrition.
- Collaborate in the development and review of educational materials and department resources to ensure they meet the needs of diverse patient populations.
