The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining and cleaning all floor surfaces within the hospital premises, ensuring a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Job Duties :
- Clean and maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing.
- Use floor cleaning machines like scrubbers and buffers safely.
- Take care of spills and stains quickly to keep floors safe.
- Inspect floors for damage and report any issues.
- Follow infection control rules when cleaning.
- Keep track of cleaning supplies and let the supervisor know when more is needed.
- Help restore and polish floors when needed.
- Follow safety guidelines and hospital cleaning standards.
- Assist with special floor cleaning tasks as requested.
