Schedule: Full-Time | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour

A Health and Rehabilitation Center in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our environmental services team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Position Overview:

As a professional Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will directly support the health and well-being of our patients and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and shared areas
• Follow cleaning schedules and infection control protocols
• Properly handle and store cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor as needed
• Wear and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
• Ensure assigned areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and prioritize tasks
• Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand/walk for extended periods
• Willingness to wear uniforms and PPE as required
