Deano’s Complete Automotive Service & Repair, a family-owned, growth-oriented auto repair shop in Centerville, IA is hiring an Experienced Automotive Technician. We are expanding and are looking to add a good/ experienced technician to our team NOW.

About you:

An automotive body technician you will be responsible for repairing and restoring the exterior body of a vehicle, including tasks like fixing dents, replacing damaged panels, removing rust, filling imperfections with body filler, prepping surfaces for paint, and applying paint to match the existing vehicle color, essentially repairing collision damage and restoring the car's aesthetics after an accident or other damage to the body panels.

· Previous experience as an automotive body technician (ASE certified preferred).

· Valid Driver’s License and have good driving record.

· Dependable, punctual, and good attendance.

· Honest, and always fair to both clients and company.

· Able to lift 50 lbs.

· Positive team member and works well with a team.

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

· Great communication skills, and can effectively communicate issues.

· Deadline and detail oriented.

· Organized and clean in all areas (Cars, Work Area).

· Must be coachable and willing to follow our company’s policies and procedures.

· Have own tools (Required) We have a scan tool, lab scope and specialty equipment.

Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
