Key Responsibilities
Provide Individual, Couples, and Family Counseling: Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans and deliver therapy to clients of all ages.
Lead Group Therapy and Workshops: Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to foster client growth.
Maintain Accurate Client Records: Ensure timely, accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and case notes.
Collaborate with Community Partners: Coordinate care with community agencies and referral sources to support holistic client well-being.
Commit to Professional Development: Stay current on best practices and therapeutic techniques through ongoing training and development.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
Licensure: Active licensure in Kentucky as an LPCC, LCSW, LPCA, CSW, LMFT, or MFT-A, in good standing with the licensing board.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience providing clinical mental health therapy.
Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills. Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Interpersonal Abilities: Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with clients who have co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Knowledge of addiction treatment models, recovery support systems, and harm reduction principles.
