Job Description/Safety Analysis

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Production workers manage the day to day operations of the plant. Production employees will be responsible for the hard cooked and scrambled egg products from start to end.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Green Room

· Load shell egg trays into egg loader and monitor loading speed.

· Adjust the rate of loading based on conditions.

· Move pallets of eggs in green room to designated location. Down stack into egg loader.

· Maintain clean working environment.

· Alert management of any mechanical issues.

· Report any food safety and quality issues/problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

· Other tasks as assigned

Red Room

· Peel shell eggs, separate salad eggs, and discard inedible eggs.

· Pick up pails and tie up plastic liners. Label and palletize.

· Place quality eggs into multi-vac pouches.

· Discard eggs that do not meet quality requirements.

· Perform re-work duties as needed. Verify lot code information, expiration date, weights, and labels.

· Inspect egg pouches for quality purposes and box eggs.

· Others tasks as assigned.

Tray Ready

· Ensure that pans are greased and properly filled with liquid eggs.

· Adjust the rate of liquid egg and pan filling as needed.

· Grab pouched eggs and toss onto conveyor belt for chilling.

· Inspect bag for quality issues and discard product as needed.

· Box and palletize pouches after chilling is complete.

· Inspect for quality issues and box product. Discard as needed.

· Boxes will be palletized and

· Clean pans through pan washer.

· Bring clean pans to fill room.

· Other tasks as assigned.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: The job of Production workers will have been satisfactorily achieved when:

· Hard cook and scrambled products meet all Deb El quality specifications.

· Equipment is operated at maximum efficiency during production runs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to lift 50 pounds continuously.
• Capable of working on feet for up to 8 to 12 hours per day, 5-7 days per week.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:

• Hairnets, Beardnets, Nitrile Gloves, Ear Plugs
• Aprons, goggles, safety boots, face shield.

TRAINING REQUIRED:

• Chemical Handling
• Lock Out/Tag Out (Affected)
• Blood borne Pathogens
• Workplace Hazards
• Bending/Lifting Procedures

POSITION REPORTS TO:

• Primary – Production Supervisor
• Secondary – Production Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour
