Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Line Cook to join our food truck team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a kitchen environment, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and food safety. As a Line Cook, you will work closely with the head chef and kitchen team to prepare and cook food in accordance with our recipes and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items in a fast, efficient, and organized manner.
- Ensure food quality and consistency meet our high standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures, including safe food handling and storage.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment (food truck experience is a plus).
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
