Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including Level I and Level II Trauma Centers, outpatient facilities, and geriatrics. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities, personal care, and ensuring a safe living environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare settings such as hospitals, teaching hospitals, or medical-surgical environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with trauma care protocols from Level I or Level II Trauma Centers is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while following established care plans.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare providers.

Pay: $13.95 - $14.74 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
