Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring high standards of care and service delivery.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote resident safety and well-being.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
- Coordinate medication administration processes and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and budgets, demonstrating strong financial acumen.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and social workers to create individualized care plans for residents.
- Monitor the quality of care provided to residents, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in service delivery and resident satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative role within long-term care or assisted living settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices and home care services is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Experience in social work or related fields is a plus.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and nursing home regulations is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to interact with staff, residents, and families effectively.
